About
Why we built Nuotes
Most notes apps start with a blank page and a decision: where does this go? What folder, what tag, what title. That small bit of friction is enough to make you not bother, and the thing you meant to remember just doesn't get written down. Nuotes started from wanting to remove that decision entirely. You don't file a note with Nuotes. You just say it.
A different starting point
Instead of a text field waiting for you to structure your own thoughts, Nuotes is built around conversation. You tell it what to remember, ask for it back, or tell it something changed, the same way you'd hand it off to a person. It's powered by our AI, so it reads what you say the way a person would, and only acts on what you actually told it. Nothing is invented or inferred on its own.
Built small, on purpose
Nuotes is a small, focused project, not a large team or a funded company. That's deliberate. It means the product can stay simple and do one thing well: store, retrieve, and update the things you tell it, without turning into a bloated workspace tool with a dozen features you'll never use.
Where it's headed
Nuotes is under active development, and the core idea won't change: notes should behave like something you talk to, not a filing system you maintain. If you run into something that doesn't work the way you'd expect, or an idea for what it should do next, the contact page goes directly to a real person reading it.
